One of the most recognizable partnerships in competitive Street Fighter has come to an end.
Punk has officially announced his departure from FlyQuest following three years with the organization, closing an important chapter in the career of one of North America’s most accomplished Street Fighter players.
The separation was announced by both sides, with FlyQuest thanking Punk for their time together and Punk looking positively toward whatever comes next.
“Was a great 3 Years accomplished a lot together with @FlyQuestFGC but I’m looking forward to bigger things in the future. Wish the best for FlyQuest and everything they do in the future,” Punk wrote on X.
Punk joined FlyQuest in 2023 and went on to achieve one of the biggest milestones of his career while representing the organization.
At Evo 2024, Punk captured the Street Fighter 6 championship, finally securing the Evo title after years of competing at the highest level of international Street Fighter. The victory became one of the defining moments of his career and of his time under the FlyQuest banner.
His departure now raises one of the biggest questions in the competitive Street Fighter scene: what comes next?
Punk remains one of the most established names in the FGC, with years of major tournament victories, international experience and a significant presence both as a competitor and content creator.
No new organization has been announced at this time.
